In this recent project in Lachine , a vibrant residential area of Montreal, our team completely transformed a dated bathroom into a modern, bright, and highly functional space .

This meticulously planned renovation combines minimalist design , high-quality materials , excellent space management , and high-performance technical solutions . Every element was chosen to create a calming environment , pleasant for everyday living, and perfectly suited to Quebec winters.

Contemporary design and sustainable materials

From the moment you enter, the visual effect is striking: large format marble-effect tiles cover the walls and floor, in soft tones that evoke both natural stone and light.

The wall-mounted vanity in honey-colored wood , paired with a molded white sink, offers a warm and refined aesthetic. The rounded wall mirror with its matte black frame visually structures the room while evoking contemporary style.

A walk-in shower that's as beautiful as it is practical

The walk-in shower was designed without a threshold or door, promoting optimal accessibility and a feeling of openness . The contrast between the light walls and the structured anthracite tiles of the shower enhances the sense of depth and creates an elegant focal point.

Two integrated wall niches provide discreet storage for toiletries, without cluttering the space. This is complemented by a ceiling-mounted rain shower and a mobile wall-mounted hand shower for versatile use.

Thermal comfort and quiet ventilation

This bathroom is designed to offer maximum comfort , even in the middle of winter:

  • An electric underfloor heating system has been integrated beneath the tiles for pleasant, diffused warmth from the very first steps.

  • The ventilation system has been enhanced with a high-performance silent extractor fan , essential for maintaining good air quality and preventing humidity.

The intelligent wall control system allows for precise temperature and humidity control, ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment .

Space optimization and smart choices

In a compact space, every centimeter counts. Here, everything has been designed for optimal use:

  • A compact and stylish toilet

  • A vertical chrome towel rack that also functions as a towel warmer

  • A chest of drawers for optimized storage without obstructing traffic

  • Numerous, discreet switches offer true ease of use.

This type of intelligent design is typical of renovations carried out by BonBain: thinking beautiful , practical and sustainable .
